Piccadilly รวบรวมข้อสอบและคำศัพท์ IELTS Reading หัวข้อ environment ที่ออกบ่อยมาให้ค่ะ ^^ ใช้อ่านทวนก่อนสอบได้ หรือ ใช้สำหรับนำไปเขียนในพาร์ท Writing ได้เช่นกัน แนะนำเปิด dictionary อังกฤษ-อังกฤษเพื่อดูตัวอย่างประโยคที่มีคำศัพท์เหล่านี้ประกอบด้วยจะดีมากค่ะ จะทำให้ได้ทราบถึงบริบทในการใช้ด้วย

1. Emissions
   noun แปลว่า การปล่อย เช่น carbon emission (การปล่อยคาร์บอน)
2. Wasteful
   adjective แปลว่า สิ้นเปลือง เช่น Restaurants in the area are wasteful with leftover food.
3. Atmospheric
   adjective แปลว่า เกี่ยวกับบรรยากาศ
   เช่น atmospheric temperatures
   (อุณหภูมิชั้นบรรยากาศ)
4. Polluter
   noun แปลว่า ผู้ก่อมลพิษ หรือสิ่งที่ทำให้เกิดมลพิษ
   เช่น The polluter should pay for the cost of the clean-up.
5. Pollutant
   noun แปลว่า สารพิษ ของเสีย
   เช่น Cleaning up road dust is one of the cheapest ways to reduce the pollutant.
6. Polluted
   adjective แปลว่า ซึ่งเป็นพิษ ซึ่งมีมลพิษ
   เช่น Polluted water sources are a hazard to wildlife.
7. Glacier
   noun แปลว่า ธารน้ำแข็ง
   เช่น Glacier ice is the largest source of water on earth.
8. Exhaust fumes
   Noun แปลว่า ควันไอเสีย
   เช่น Exhaust fumes are extremely dangerous.
9. Ecology
   Noun แปลว่า นิเวศวิทยา
   เช่น We were learning about ecology in our biology class.
10. Sustainable
    Adjective แปลว่า ยั่งยืน
    เช่น We should invest in sustainable farming.
11. Deforestation
    Noun แปลว่า การตัดไม้ทำลายป่า
    เช่น Deforestation is destroying large areas of tropical rain forest.
12. Habitat
    Noun แปลว่า ถิ่นที่อยู่
    เช่น The richest habitats in the world are the tropical rainforests.
