คุณครูขอนำเสนอหัวข้อใหม่ของ IELTS Speaking Part 1 ใน ช่วง กันยายน – ธันวาคม ปี 2025 ทั้งนี้หัวข้อในการสอบจะมีความหลากหลายมากขึ้น หนึ่งในหัวข้อใหม่ล่าสุด คือ “Working with Old People” ซึ่งเป็นการให้ผู้สอบพูดถึงประสบการณ์และทัศนคติต่อการทำงานร่วมกับผู้สูงอายุ สำหรับบางคน การตอบคำถามนี้อาจจะเป็นเรื่องง่ายมากเพราะเป็นเรื่องใกล้ตัว แต่สำหรับบางคนที่ไม่เคยมีประสบการณ์ใกล้ชิดกับผู้สูงอายุก็อาจจะไม่รู้ว่าจะตอบอะไร เราลองมาดูกันนะคะว่าสำหรับสองคำถามนี้ เราจะตอบได้อย่างไรบ้าง

Question 1: Have you ever worked with old people?
สำหรับคำถามแรก ถ้าเราเคยมีประสบการณ์ เราสามารถตอบว่า Yes ได้เลยค่ะ ตัวคำตอบไม่จำเป็นต้องตอบยาวมาก เพราะเป็นคำถาม part1 แต่ขอให้เราตอบอย่างมั่นใจ เป็นธรรมชาติ ใช้แกรมม่าที่ถูกต้อง ใช้คำศัพท์ที่เหมาะสม

Yes, I have. When I was in high school, I volunteered at a local community centre where we organized activities for elderly people. It was a really nice experience because I got to listen to their stories and learn from their life experiences. They were very kind and appreciative, which made me enjoy helping them even more.

แต่ถ้าเราไม่เคยมีประสบการณ์ในการทำงานกับผู้สูงวัย เราสามารถตอบได้ว่า
Not really. I’ve never worked with old people, but I do talk to my grandparents quite often, and I enjoy listening to their stories. I think if I had a chance to work with elderly people, I would probably enjoy it.

ส่วนคำถามที่สองนั้นเป็นการถามว่าเราชอบทำงานกับคนที่อายุมากกว่าไหม
Question 2: Are you happy to work with people who are older than you?
ถ้าเราชอบ เราสามารถตอบได้ประมาณนี้ค่ะ
Absolutely. I actually enjoy working with older people because they often have more experience and can give valuable advice. Sometimes they have different ways of thinking, which helps me see things from another perspective. They’ve been through more, so they usually know how to deal with problems better.

แต่ถ้าเราไม่ชอบทำงานกับคนที่อายุมากกว่า เราอาจจจะตอบคำถาม โดยขึ้นว่า To be honest หรือ Honestly ก่อนจะตอบคำถามของเราว่าเราไม่ค่อยชอบทำงานกับคนที่อายุมากกว่าเท่าไหร่ค่ะ
สำหรับคำตอบก็จะประมาณนี้เลย
To be honest, not really. I respect older people, but sometimes I find it a bit hard to work with them because our ways of thinking can be quite different. For example, they may prefer traditional methods, while I like trying new approaches. But I still think working with them can be a good opportunity to learn patience and communication skills.
